The weight pin cannot be inserted or is difficult to insert.

Check the distance between the weights and the tensioner. These must be adjusted so that - when no weight pin is inserted - all the weights are on top of each other. In particular, the guide weight including the rod must be on top. If the guide weight is above the weight plates, the tensioner must be loosened.
